“Vettaikkari” is a forthcoming Tamil action movie scheduled to be released in the year 2024, directed and written by Kalimuthu Kathamuthu and produced by Sri Karuppar Films' Vishnu Priya Veluchani. The movie stars R. Rahul, Sanjana Singh, Vincent Asokan, and Ganja Karuppu in important roles.

The movie is about "Sanjana" (Sanjana Singh), a wealthy housewife, who is profoundly in love with “Rahul” (R. Rahul), a poor youth. Their love is resolutely opposed by Sanjana's influential family, who spurn their love. To escape from the threats and pressure, Sanjana suggests going to a distant village in the Western Ghats, where Siddappa, a plantation laborer, can give them shelter.

Rahul and Sanjana reach the mystic mountain village near Rajapalayam. Welcoming them in is “Veluchami” (Vincent Asokan) the stepfather of Rahul. Veluchami becomes impressed by the relation of Rahul that has gone into deep love and devotion, so he says that he would help arrange their marriage. Days to the wedding, however, soon, Sanjana begins to notice some strange activities in the village that are quite unsettling.

She sees mysterious people walking in the forest at night and an involvement by Veluchami with those people that is rather secretive. With a persistent attitude and a curious mind, Sanjana follows Veluchami and discovers a hidden truth about his life in the forest. Who are these people? What is Veluchami searching for? And most importantly, will Rahul and Sanjana's love conquer these perilous events?

“Vettaikkari” is a masterful blend of romance, suspense, and action, keeping people spellbound in a single spellbinding tale of suspense. An engaging backdrop of a sun-kissed countryside travel, Vettaikkari touches upon issues of love, deception, and concealed identities. With good performance and an intriguing story, “Vettaikkari” is a page-turner film that keeps the viewers stuck from beginning to end.
